What about birds (the flying kind).
No pics, and not quite so exciting.
This will be in sveedis.
Skärpiplärka är väl det roligaste.
Gudingflockar i massor (Ejderhannar)
Skarvar
Nåt som kan ha varit Sillgrisslor.
Massa måsar, trutar och tärnor behöver jag ju knappast säga.
Men det är ju lite kul när Silltruten landar medans man dukar till lunch under gång.

But, it calls for some more pics.
Now we're cool / Entering Hamburgsund / Shopping tour
Seals on a rock / Beer at last! I cant' believe that Mats and Calle didn't buy beer the first time;-) (that is Mats and Calle)
Yeah, me loooves da boat / Close contact with the elements on the windward pontone at 9 nots.
I think I'll switch to mast-hugging instead. (Or maybe mats-hugging, daaa, lol) :-o

The weather is too nice!!
It's a fantastic high pressure / no wind type of weather. Really nice but unfortunatelly too little wind.
The morning was ok for a few hours. We could sail at 9 to 12 knots for some time. Later the wind died and we've been running with the motor all after noon, still going strong. The plans are to keep going alll night because the forecast is nice wind later this evening. Perhaps we'll even go around the clock for some time. We've got some catching up to do.
Evening calm Morning swim/Wohaa Hair-do? Who do? Enjoying

First day and no wind
So the first day is over. The deal in completed and we set of at 1400, heading south only to find no wind. After an hour of brave attempt to make it move anyway we started the engin (deep sight). Soon enuf though we got 3-5 m/s and before we knew it we were making some 10 knots, top speed around 11.5. However we had a bad start and decided to head on until quite late and still covered far less miles than we planned. We're in for long days of sailing if we shall make it back in time.
She sails beautifully though. We put up the screecher almost directly and kept it up until we stopped at about 2200. So yes, now it's very late and I'm off to bed. I already hear heavy snooring in the cabin.

Are they really optimal A seal actually

On our way at last
After feeling like an eggsick hen (as mats expressed it in Swedish) for a few hours this afternoon we finally joined up for a kick of beer as the central station. After some uncertainty about whether we actually had tickets for the buss or not we managed to get on the buss in time. It's soon midnight and I think the other two are trying to get some sleep. I won't have any problems with that, given the total number of hour of sleep the last couple of days. The plan is to head straight out into Kattegatt tomorrow so we'd better had some rest tonight.
I'll ad some more info about the boat and a couple of links to the manufacturer and some other nice fora for multihull fans tomorrow. And pics of course, of boat and crew.

Here she is, waiting for us in Norway

Sorry for the wraped heading. I don't seem to be able to fix it in the style sheet.
Any helpful comments on how to widen the header are appreciated.
Background
Hello all trimaran lovers out there
and hi to the rest of you as well.
Most of what I'm giong to write here will be in bad english since there are quite a few of my friends and relatives out there who for some reason don't understand Swedish. And of course the number of potential readers will increase by a factor 100 or so. Right now I'm in the intense phase of planning and purchasing everything you need going back to sea after some 14 years of longing. Yes, it is that long since I had access to a sailing boat. At that time a regular mid size lead freighter. You know, one of those things that has a ton of dead weigth down below.
Me and two friends will sail from Fredrikstad, Norway to Stockholm, Sweden in hopefully 5½ days. (Let's pray for wind!) We will board the boat on Thursday 29:th of May at noon. The plan is to keep posting every night if the technology works and cellphone network will reach us.
It's a bit of a wild and crazy thing that was decided yesterday actually.
The crew is:
Tomas Ekman, skipper and owner of the boat. (eagerly listening to his friends for multihull sailing advice)
Mats Gartz, first mate, my boss, but slave on board (also has a master's certificate and VHF license which comes in handy).
Carl Petersohn, second mate and slave to the slave on board with a spirit and an enthusiasm enuf to make anyone happy.
Actually we're all quit happy people. All in all, quite a merry bunch.
Will be back with pics and details.
