June 1:st. Plan to round Smugehuk
11:00 Today is when we're planning to round the most southern point of Sweden. Unfortunatelly the weather is extraordinary good, for sunbathing. Absolutely no wind, crew in shorts and faces white with sunblock, deep sigh. Let's hope for some afternoon breeze. This morning Calle recalled having read a couple of stories about sailing home a boat purchased abroad, and most of the had to run by motor. Well, well you can't order wind, but we do pray - sort of. We even made the traditional scrifice when we put out from the boats old harbor. We poured some aquavit into the water to appease Neptune and all the water deamons. I guess we overdid it a bit.
Please, help us have them send us a steady 10m/s (20knot) hard breaze of broad reach (slör) all the rest of the way. That would do it.

OK! It helped we just made 13.7 knots closehauled! (dikt bidevind).

Visiting Mats friends, Åke and Bodil, in the port of Borstahusen.
They had the enormously appreciated curtesy to bring some lunch beer for us.
Close call. Nah, just joking. we're in full control.
Mats hearding the cobra, taking aleak at the now closed nuclear plant of Barsebäck.
Hulk in a life vest. Still no wind at noon as you can see.
Yeah another tri. It's the smaller Dragonfly 800.

Förstår att ni längtar efter vind, det är ju den ni tänkt umgås med. Och så dyker den inte upp på festen! Eller kommer sent som f-n. Svinig stil. Idag har det iaf blåst lite i Bråviken och det har det kanske gjort hos er också. Nice omständigheter annars. Ha det fortsatt gott.

Good morning boys!
Keep gooing on northways, sooner or later you will reach good winds. Where are you this morning? How do you prepare for passing Oland are you sailing inside or outside the island. Here in Sollentuna the sun shines from a full clear blue heaven and it is rather warm already. The wind is blowing from north just now we think it is the same at sea.
